Azur is the twin sister of Dahl and is immediately beneath Dahl in the hierarchy of scientists and engineers working on the Palm II project. Azur's specialties are ecology and history. She utilizes her vast knowledge of the original Palm's climate and geology to aid the construction of Palm II. She is also a master of language. Besides Palman, Azur is fluent in Dezorian and Motavian, as well as written Musk Cat and a variety of dead languages, such as Palmalatin, Prepalmalatin, and Old Dezorian. Like Dahl, Azur graduated from Piata West Academy at the the very top of her class. Azur is a happy-go-lucky person who can get along well with almost anyone. She is much closer to Wren than Dahl is, but like Dahl, Azur sometimes wishes that Wren would open up more. Azur shares a particularly close relationship with Demi, who she sees as being, for lack of a better term, her mother.
