Mium was a Mieu-type android created by Mother Brain before the Great Collapse. Originally designed as part of Mother Brain's "Final Solution," a plan to utterly destroy the planet of Palm, Mium found that her loyalty to Mother Brain was more than overridden by her love for the people she was designed to destroy. When the order came to detonate the nuclear reactor inside of herself, Mium refused, and helped spread the word that Palm was about to be destroyed. It was partly because of Mium's actions that the majority of Palm's population was saved from the planet's destruction. However, the ship Mium escaped aboard was faulty and became trapped in an orbit around Mota. All of the ship's inhabitants were killed when the ship's life support systems failed. Mium, in her despair, deactivated herself. She remained inert until she was found in the ship's wreckage a few years after it crashed on Mota. She was then brought to Zelan where she spent the majority of the next two thousand years in a state of sleep. It was not until Dahl made known to Wren her need for more help that Wren reactivated Mium and sent her to Palm II, where she has since made many new friends, as well as acquired a new appreciation for life. Mium is an extremely cheerful and enthusiastic person who is immeasurably grateful for her second chance, which she plans to utilize to the fullest.
