Motavian

He spends his days in search of water.
Through Algol's rays and the antilion slaughter,
he remains brave and continues to dig.
Only drink can sustain four thirsty kids.
A shovel strikes the tight-packed sand
causing stains of life on his weary hands.
Will it ever end? Can he not retire?
Maybe a Palman needs a butler for hire.
But his scouting goes on, as if under a spell.
But despite all his work, he digs only dry wells.
It sustains one's daughters, but can bring such sorrow.
The search for water.
He will try again tomorrow.
