The Strangers We Know is where it all begins. This, the first story of the saga, introduces the main characters and many of the settings of the saga's universe.

AW 4284 — A prosperous Algo, blessed by lasting unity and peace, is once again graced by four worlds. But lurking deep beneath the warm and inviting surface of the manmade planet Palm II waits an ancient evil, a destructive power from ages long past which will not rest until Algo's beautiful stepchild meets the same fate as its unfortunate namesake.
